About:

Celso Scribante kart track is a popular destination for kart racing enthusiasts in Gqeberha, South Africa. It is the home of the Algoa Kart and Motorcycle Club, which was founded in 1960 and has hosted many national and regional championships. The track is named after Celso Scribante, a former club member and racing driver who died in a car accident in 1984.

The track is located on Victory Drive in Walmer, near the Arlington Racecourse and the Walmer Park Shopping Centre. It has a length of 1005 meters and a width of 8 meters, with 14 turns and a long straight. The track surface is asphalt that is low grip, but has good drainage.

Celso Scribante kart track is not only a fun and exciting venue for karting, but also a place where young drivers can learn the basics of motorsport and develop their talent.

AAO Comments:

We are thrilled to announce the addition of Celso Scribante to our portfolio for Kart Racing Pro. Another laser scanned track done and dusted and ready for all OKL members to do laps on. From our testing in-house this track clearly was one that was not meant to be played around on. From fast bending sweeps to sharp low speed corners, it will really have you on your toes when pushing the limits. Just one thing worth mentioning, watch your kerb usage.

To gain access to any of the OKL tracks for Kart Racing Pro an OKL membership is required. Visit the OKL store for all membership options.
