About:
The Autódromo do ATCM, located in Maputo, Mozambique, is operated by the Automobile and Touring Club of Mozambique, an organization founded in 1949. The current karting circuit represents a modern addition to Mozambique’s motorsport infrastructure, situated on the Marginal Road in the heart of the country’s capital. The ATCM has been instrumental in developing motorsport in Southern Africa and continues to be a key FIA member club promoting racing and motorsport development across the region. The facility hosts various competitive karting events and serves as the home of the ATCM Karting Academy, which aims to nurture young talent in motorsport. Despite being less prominent on the international karting stage compared to European circuits, ATCM represents an important hub for motorsport development in Africa.

This track is a hidden gem. It’s not well known about in international circles, but it features a brilliant layout that’s an absolute pleasure to drive. The real magic happens when you string together a perfect lap, jumping kerbs at full speed around the circuit in a flowing, technical rhythm that few tracks can match.
Modeling ATCM presented its own unique challenges. The track’s excellent visibility and far sightlines throughout the circuit meant we had to capture a significant amount of surrounding detail to do it justice. Every vantage point needed careful attention to ensure the environment looked authentic and complete. Despite these complexities, this track was a genuine pleasure to model and even better to visit in person. It’s a circuit that truly rewards smooth, precise driving, and we’re confident Kart Racing Pro drivers will discover why it’s such a gem once they experience it.
