OKL Kecskemét

Kecskemét presented unique challenges that pushed us to think creatively and rely on community expertise. Reference information for the circuit was limited, and the photogrammetry data we managed to gather was already outdated by the time we began work. Most notably, the circuit had undergone recent upgrades, including the addition of a new Turn 1 extension, which meant our initial reference material didn’t accurately reflect the current layout.

What made this project possible was the invaluable feedback and guidance from local drivers who knew the circuit intimately. Without their firsthand knowledge and corrections, we would not have been able to deliver this track with the accuracy it deserved. Their contribution was instrumental in capturing the true character of Kecskemét.

The real highlight of this project, however, was modeling the iconic hotel that overlooks the circuit. We went above and beyond with the detail work, even modeling individual rooms within the building. Take a closer look during your racing—you might just spot some easter eggs hidden throughout. We had a lot of fun bringing this distinctive landmark to life in Kart Racing Pro.
