About:
Åsum Ring, located in Kristianstad in Skåne, southern Sweden, is the country’s premier karting circuit. The 1,221-meter track features a challenging mix of high-speed corners, technical sections, and elevation changes that demand precision and aggression from drivers. Slightly modified in 2017 to improve safety, the circuit has become a regular host of FIA Karting World Championships, European Championships, and major international competitions. Since 2014, when FIA competition first came to the venue, Kristianstad has earned a reputation for its excellent organization and hospitality. The circuit’s proximity to the Baltic Sea creates unpredictable weather conditions that add an element of uncertainty to every event, while its challenging layout is renowned for producing selective and spectacular racing.
AAO Comments:
We pushed hard to get this track done in time for the WSK round that was to be hosted there in 2025. Such an expansive circuit in such a short timeframe was a real challenge, but that’s usually when our team delivers their best work. The technical demands of Kristianstad required meticulous attention to detail to capture authentically.
This track is a personal favorite to drive, and we’re confident that once you experience it in Kart Racing Pro, you’ll understand why. The flowing nature of Åsum Ring rewards smooth, committed driving, and our recreation captures that magic that makes racing here so special.
