    About:

The Circuito Internazionale Napoli, located in Sarno near the Amalfi Coast in Italy, was built in 1993 by Giuseppe Sorrentino. The current layout stretches 1,670 meters and features five straights and nine corners that combine high-speed sections with technical challenges. Known for its long straights and a dramatic backdrop of Mount Vesuvius, Sarno has hosted numerous FIA World Championships and European Championships, as well as regular stops on the WSK Promotion and Italian Championship calendars. The circuit has undergone several modernizations, including a significant 2021 layout redesign and a 2024 chicane addition at the final corner. Managed by the Sorrentino family, the facility offers comprehensive amenities including an on-site hotel, restaurant, and full-service competition infrastructure.

    AAO Comments:

We saw great interest in this circuit post-release, particularly due to the Rotax Finals being hosted at Sarno just a couple of months later. The circuit was unique due to its wide infield sections and long track extension, presenting interesting design challenges.

We also picked a great time to build this track, as it was right after they updated and extended the final corner. This meant capturing the latest iteration of one of Europe’s most prestigious karting venues, and we’re confident our recreation reflects the modern layout that makes Sarno such a challenging and rewarding circuit for drivers worldwide.
