    About:

    Kart Silverstone, officially opened in 2025, is a brand-new world-class international karting circuit located on the infield of the legendary Silverstone Circuit in Northamptonshire, England. The 1,377-meter track features six different configurations ranging from the Village circuit for young Bambinos aged six and up, to The Grand Prix layout hosting elite-level championship racing. Backed by significant investment from the British Racing Drivers’ Club (BRDC) and designed with input from former F1 drivers David Coulthard and Anthony Davidson, the track is fully licensed to host FIA international kart events. Most notably, the circuit incorporates Bridge Corner from Silverstone’s 1991-2009 Formula One Grand Prix circuit—a legendary corner beloved by racers and fans—preserving this iconic section of tarmac while introducing it to a new generation of karting competitors. The facility is projected to attract over 160,000 visitors annually and includes rooftop viewing decks, dining, and premium amenities.

    AAO Comments:

    This was for sure one of the most interesting modding projects we have attempted. It was the first time we completed our version of a track before the original was even built. That required superimposing multiple data sources on top of one another to account for the terrain changes that had to be made to accommodate the circuit’s construction.

    We think the design is brilliant—not just because of the great layout itself, but also for its inclusion of the original Bridge corner section from the main Silverstone circuit in its original form, with absolute minimum alterations to such a historic piece of tarmac. Preserving this legendary F1 corner while integrating it seamlessly into the new karting circuit was a masterstroke of design that honors motorsport heritage. Capturing this authentically in Kart Racing Pro has been incredibly rewarding, and we’re proud to bring this pioneering circuit to our community.
