About:
Zwartkops International Kart Circuit is a racing circuit located in Pretoria, South Africa. The circuit is 991.72 meters long and has an average width of 8.6 meters wide. The International Kart Circuit is unique because it has the Bridgestone Flyover where the circuit actually crosses over itself. The sloping terrain of Zwartkops lends itself to great spectator viewing points and promises the drivers a challenging roller coaster ride. This track is also included in the South African Rotax Max Challenge roster.
AAO Comments:
We’re excited to present our third iteration of Zwartkops Karting Circuit, one of South Africa’s most beloved and popular racing venues. With significant advances in our scanning equipment and techniques since our previous versions, we’ve been able to capture the track with unprecedented detail and accuracy.
Zwartkops has always presented unique modeling challenges that make it rewarding to work on. The iconic bridge that spans the circuit adds character and visual interest, and recreating it faithfully has been a highlight of this update. Perhaps the most demanding aspect was tackling the track’s hillside location situated on a slope, the surrounding terrain and landscape features are integral to the overall experience. Ensuring that all these environmental elements were properly included was crucial to avoid the track feeling isolated or empty, and we’re confident that the result captures the authentic atmosphere drivers experience when racing at Zwartkops.
We believe this latest version will deliver an immersive and authentic Zwartkops experience in Kart Racing Pro.
